Wireless Zone owner Steve Bloom nominated LACASA's Child Abuse Prevention Council for a $4,000 grant from the Wireless Zone Foundation.
Livingston County business owners, families and residents came together to help 310 LACASA families this holiday season. One of these business owners is Wireless Zone’s Steve Bloom.
LACASA is a nonprofit agency for victims of domestic violence, child abuse and sexual assault. Owner of two area Wireless Zone locations, Bloom and his employees adopted a family from LACASA this year, and nominated the agency’s Child Abuse Prevention Council for a grant from the Wireless Zone Foundation.
“It’s the right thing to do,” Bloom told the Livingston Daily, “There’s so much bad in the world that it would be nice to just be able to see some kids smile and some families.”
