The Wireless Zone in Martinsville, VA is joining with Toys for Tots this holiday season to collect toys for those less fortunate in the community. The Martinsville Bulletin recently spoke with local franchisee Will Stout and Marketing and Communications Manager Michele Correia about the initiative.
According to the article, the program is a highlight for the nationwide Wireless Zone system.
Said Correia, “Toys for Tots is one that brings us a great deal of joy to do because it allows us to bring smiles to children’s faces."
Stout also told the Bulletin that despite tough economic times, initiatives like Toys for Tots can help the community in a number of ways.
Said Stout, “Try to [shop] local. Keep everything within the community. If you try to support your town, things will come around. Supporting those around you goes a long way to bring your community back.”
